Dave grew up just outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Having done some traveling growing up he never became too comfortable in one place. After graduating from The Savannah Collage of Art and Design, Dave moved to NYC where he was able to learn from some of the greats including Annie Leibovitz, Steven Meisel, Martin Schoeller, Robert Clark, Theo Wenner, Philip-Lorca diCorcia, and Ethan James Green.
